Russell and Kate Anderson seem to have the perfect life. Russ is a successful attorney, Kate the doting wife and mother. They have three wonderful daughters and a beautiful home. What more could anyone want? But all is not as it seems. The perfect life may not be all that perfect after all. Russell’s long hours at work and ignoring his family while he is home working are taking their toll, and when Kate can’t take it anymore, she leaves–leaving behind a shocked Russ and three devastated daughters.

 

What Russ comes to understand is that providing for your family–being a father–isn’t the same as being a “dad”. He doesn’t know his daughters and they don’t know him. And now he has the chance to rectify that. But it’s not easy, as Russ has to deal with the trials and tribulations of three daughters, each at a difficult time in their lives, each just struggling to come into their own. Add to that balancing his career, and you might have a recipe for disaster, instead what you find is a man who is also struggling to come into his own.
